"Let food be your medicine and medicine your food"
Hippocrates of Kos
Proper nutrition is the key to a healthy life, healthy aging and it plays an essential role in the prevention of numerous chronic diseases such as type II diabetes mellitus, high blood pressure, arthrosis or Alzheimer's dementia.
Micronutrients have a high potential to prevent or even heal diseases. Vitamins and minerals can be taken with food, for example with fruit and vegetables. However, food often has a long way to go before it reaches the consumer. Many types of vegetables lose more than 50% of their vitamin content from the second day after harvest. Current nutritional reports indicate a lack of micronutrients in almost all groups of people. People with resoption insufficiencies or who take regular medication are almost always affected by micronutrient deficiencies.
